Breakouts

Throughout the planet further oddities can be found but for the most part land mass is habitable although only able to play host to species with low energy requirements, or those that can harvest sunlight. The frequent breakup of the land giving way to what has been documented as superstructural pins and parts of the structure that has been exposed over eons of weathering cannot be seen or detected from space with anything but extremely finely tuned scanning equipment (Joloteth techs are necessary to operate this equipment). These breakups can easily be seen physically by anyone examining the planet however and contain heavy concentrations of compound/complex ore.

A widely disregarded geological phenomenon of ON is these very breakups, however, they attract immense scientific intrigue as the superdense makeup of the superstructure of ON is a unique alloy, not found anywhere else within the explored universe. The makeup of the alloy is a point of intense debate, as there are dozens of unidentifiable atomic structures along with what seems to be intelligent nanoparticulate. The debate arises due to the fact that a super-dense structure should, by all calculations, be impossible to move about it, and is very much non manipulable by any scientist who has attempted to do so. Note that, how the sample was obtained was that it was found laying about on the ground near a breakout, to date no attempts to pry, singe, melt, or blast a piece away from other breakouts have been successful. Despite that, great scientific strides have been made with the single sample in material development, and even some improvements to nanotech, although not to the level of nanotech inside of the alloy.

Now, regarding the superstructure breakouts, beyond the alloy. While these breakouts seem to be the result of weathering in most cases, there are also breakouts which seem to indicate a pattern of planetary growth, which for some reason or another has been halted. Scans and decades of research on this particular matter have revealed very little suffice the locating of a 'plan' regarding the growth of ON. Imprinted on the every structural outcropping is terabytes of data which is constantly being processed and changed, representing a 4-dimensional structure, which when properly parsed reveals an inner 3-dimensional structure roughly equivalent of ON. About every 2 minutes the structure represented changes and warps into a completely new structure with roughly the same volume and shape as before but with changes to landmass, climate, oceans, and a yet unidentified complex set of points. Despite this no growth or active change has been documented by ON for the entirety of first arrival.
