The Zhobut are the largest amphibians before the Oboresk at 12 meters in diameter, however, unlike the Oboresk they are well known to anyone who has visited ON, not by sight but by sound. Zhobut's croak is powerful enough to shake the ground for dozens of meters and has in some instances exacerbated fault lines to the degree of creating minor earthquakes. Not helping quite so much with this danger is the fact that their powerful jaws (well over powerful enough to crush rocks) and their incredibly caustic digestive tract, as well as limbs powerful enough to simply crush some of their prey to a pulp, enable them to burrow deep into the ground. In fact a common disturbing phenomenon for ocean life is a Zhobut digging too far, too fast and temporarily ending up in a dense ocean area (at which time they quite often panic as they spend very little time in the water after their childhood). Along with these events there are conflicts had with the Seebolit when they are disturbed (albeit temporarily) from their rest; while the Zhobut are impressive they are no match for the Seebolit or their venom and become quick food for the sleeping beauties. In general the Zhobut will hunt anything near them, with most creatures not able to put up much of a fight, especially during pack hunting. Another note to researchers, with regards to Zhobut, their is a myth about their incredible taste and how hunting them is well worth the number of risks, we can assure you that no documented encounter with a Zhobut has proved fruitful for hunting purposes and even more than that a few young researchers have died on these quests. If you are told by anyone to hunt these creatures it is in all likelihood a prank and a dangerous one at that, devise a counter prank and leave it at that.
